Keeping Safe During COVID-19 A happy and healthy pet starts with a plan!

Keeping Safe During COVID-19

Pets are family and we know how important it is for them to receive necessary care when they need it. During this time, Otterkill Animal Hospital is committed to serving all pets in our community while keeping the safety of our staff and clients a priority.

We are offering curbside check-in, and check out for all medication and food refills.

We are allowing 1 family member per appointment to accompany their pet inside. A staff member will escort you in once an exam room is available.

We require masks be worn at all times, and the staff will continue to remain masked in order to keep us all healthy.

Here is what you can expect from our curbside service:

  1. Upon arrival, please remain in your vehicle and give us a call at (845) 427–2854.
  2. A staff member will meet you at your vehicle to take your pet and 1 family member in to the hospital for evaluation.
  3. The veterinarian will perform a full exam, then will discuss their exam findings, any concerns you may have, diagnostics, treatments, estimates, medications, and any other information involved.
  4. After approved treatments are completed, a staff member will check you out in the room, and go over care instructions.

We are still offering full curbside service if you feel your pet might be less anxious without you present. If you prefer to wait in your car during your pets' visit, we ask that you remain on the premises while your pet is examined and treated.
