What made you want to work at an animal hospital? I love animals, working with animals, and helping others. Working in an animal hospital combines all of those things.
What is your hope with every patient you see? I hope that I can help each patient to have a pleasant experience at Otterkill and go home happier and healthier than they came in.
Who makes up your family at home? I live at home with my mom & dad, and I have a younger sister, Riley. We have three dogs. Judy is a 5 year old yellow Labrador who is a retired guide dog from Guiding Eyes for the Blind. Maisy is a 4 year old chocolate Labrador. Harlow is a 4 year old yellow Labrador and a breeding dog for Guiding Eyes for the Blind. We also have five cats, Jasper, Fermata, Charlie, Melody, and Juniper.
Do you have a mantra or philosophy that you try to live by? Education is important. Nobody can do better if they do not know better. I always hope to educate owners on how they can help to improve the life of their pets. That could mean decreasing anxiety, improving nutrition, increasing their level of exercise and training, or knowing what to look forward to as their pet ages.
“I love to be a part of the Otterkill Family because…” We truly are a family! I love my Otterkill family like I love my blood family! Our clients are wonderful, kind people and I love getting to know all of their furry family members! My coworkers are lovely, caring people who do a great job caring for our patients each and every day.
