Hi. I'm 23 years old and I have 2 ferrets. One albino female 3 years old. And one sable male about 5 years old. I rescued him so I don't know his exact age. Almost a year ago he was diagnosted with adrenal disease. I changed vets, this one gave me Transfer Factor Feline CompleteTM to put in their food. He said it would cure it naturally. He said he's used it before on ferrets and had good results. Well it worked for a while and his hair actually grew back. But now he's almost bald and very itchy and he pees a lot! I'm very concerned. It's almost like a constant leek. I also think I have to change vets again because he never mentioned surgery or any other treatment. And whe I brought them for their yearly check up, he gave them their vacinations and they had a reaction. He said he's never heard of them ever having a reaction to it. And that's in like every book I read! I was just wondering what I should do. I'm afraid he's too old for the surgery.
